The 4th and 5th block Digital and Interactive Media classes went head-to-head this week in a competition for best public service announcement.

The classes were completing a unit on audio/video production, which involved groups of three to four students coming up with a concept, script, storyboard and production plan for a PSA. Each group member edited the footage, and in the first round of competition, the best video from each group was selected.

In round two, those entries were pitted against the other selections within the same block, and students voted on the best video. In the final round, the top picks from each block were shown for voting.

Kobe Nukala, a student in 4th block, won for his entry “Late.” Mikayla Goodman, from 5th block, was the runner-up with her entry “Respect Your Teachers.”
