Do you have a weird talent? Can you sing? Juggle multiple items? Are you a contortionist?

No matter what the talent, Braswell’s talent showcase “Koobraey” will give students and staff the chance to display it.

The talent show, sponsored by yearbook and Ladies League, is set for 6:30 p.m., May 17, in the BHS auditorium. Auditions will take place starting at 4:30 p.m. May 8 and 9 in Room J102.

“We want to start traditions here at Braswell,” yearbook sponsor Erin Cristales said. “The teachers and the students get to see each other in a different light, and I think that’s what’s cool about [the show].”

Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Tickets will be sold May 8-12 during lunch in the Commons. Tickets must be purchased during lunches to receive the reduced prices.

In the meantime, students are preparing their acts.

“Since I’m kinda new here, I want to surprise every body with what I can do,” sophomore Calista Schwab said.
