The tradition of homecoming first started in 1991 University of Missouri’s though the tradition is almost the same throughout the years the clothing has changed a lot. This year’s hoco wear is more laid back but in later years it was more formal.
Most guys are wearing just jeans and a clean shirt while the girls are wearing more form-fitting short dresses. Two pieces are currently on trend. Most of the time the top almost always has an opening at the back of the skirt is generally flowy and short. Some are not going to be attending because of the costs of the ticket and the dress the shoes along with the stress of makeup and hair.

“It’s just too much work and money for one night,” sophomore Ari’Yona Smith said. She later asked one of her friends to attend it with her.
