Marvel drops ‘Avengers 4’ trailer, title

Oh. My. God. Marvel just released the Avengers 4 trailer and people are losing their minds. While the trailer doesn’t give fans much to work with, there is still enough to make people get excited.

We start by seeing Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) abandoned and running out of supplies on a spaceship with no hope of rescue. He’s recording his last words for Pepper — his fiancée, in case you forgot — expressing his undying love for her. If I was a betting woman, I’d say Iron Man — or at least RDJ — might make his final appearance along with Chris Evans.

Later we see a clean-shaven Steve (Chris Evans) mourning the ones he’s lost and Bruce (Mark Ruffalo) going over the data of which allies they’ve lost. On the boards, several faces appear, including Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd). Which begs the question of how did he get out of the quantum realm without the help of the Pym’s?

Fortunately, we still have all of our original Avengers. And there’s the promise of Captain Marvel if the end credits of “Avengers: Infinity War” weren’t lying to us. That being said, there aren’t that many good guys left, making the fight against Thanos even harder — if that’s even who they’re fighting.

And for all you Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) fans out there — myself included — the man has decided to finally grace us with his presence. However, he looks … different. When Natasha (Scarlett Johanson) finds him he’s wiping something off a sword, that is only wielded by Ronin, a lone warrior.

Natasha says “This is gonna work, Steve.” And while his response may seem optimistic, his face isn’t hiding anything when he says “I know it is, cause I don’t know what I’m gonna do if it doesn’t.”

Along with the trailer, the title for the new film was released. “Avengers: Endgame” looks to hold promise that not everything is going to be sunshine and daisies. And with speculation from fans, I’m sure that not everybody is going to make it out of this one.

“Avengers: Endgame” will be in theaters starting April 26.
